Michael Schumacher and Team Hoping For Trouble Free Race in China Grand Prix

Michael SchumacherThe China Grand Prix is coming up on the Formula One Championship calendar and Ross Brawn has said that he hopes his star driver, Michael Schumacher will be able to compete in that race without any problems and show how much that he has improved since the beginning of the 2010 season. The China Grand Prix is going to be held at the Shanghai International Circuit in Shanghai, China and will be this weekend, April 16th 17th and 18th. Sebastian Vettel is the defending champion of the Chinese Grand Prix from 2009.

Shumacher is a seven time world champion, but apparently being away from the circuit has taken a toll on him, after being gone for three years, getting only nine points in the season thus far, being surpassed by Nico Rosberg who is Shumacher's Brawn teammate. That's only three races but everyone expected him to do better than that. However, Brawn did say that Michael Shumacher is improving with each race that he runs and Brawn told the German agency DPA that Michael is getting more into each with each racing weekend.

Brawn said that the battle between the two Brawn teammates will become more interesting once both drivers have the proper machinery, and that they both will show good results. He said that they will begin this as soon as they get a car that matches their talent. About the low score from Shumacher he said that the Formula One championship is still going on, and is not decided, and that with the new points system in place, it is quite easy to turn things around very quickly. We'll see if this holds true at the Chinese Grand Prix on April 18th.
