FIA WTCC Spain Live

The FIA WTCC will be heading to Suzuka, Japan for the next event on the calender, the third to the last event of this season of the World Touring Car Championship. It will happen from October 21^st to the 23^rd and it will be the 19^th and the 20^th round of the WTCC Series. After that race, the Shanghai Tianma Circuit will host the WTCC on November 4^th, 5^th and 6^th, with the series holding this round number twenty one and twenty two in China and then the final race of the year will be in Guia, Macau on November 17^th to the 20^th.

Yvan Muller currently leads the standings for the WTCC Series. The French driver has 333 points right now. Robert Huff from Great Britain is in second with 317 points and Alain Menu from Czech Republic takes third with 253. The FIA World Touring Car Championship heads to Valencia, Spain for the seventeenth and eighteenth rounds of the series, which is going to be held September 3^rd and 4^th, followed by the October 21^st to the 23^rd. In Suzuka, Japan, the eighteenth and nineteenth rounds. Also coming up on the calendar, a stop in Guangdong, Chinca November 4^th through the 6^th. The most recent event to be held in the FIA WTCC was the Oshersleben, Germany race, which was held July 30^th and 31^st. Race One saw Yvan Muller take the lead and eventually the win, and Franz Engstler won the second race.

Britain's Robert Huff leads right now with 289 points and Yvan Muller from France comes in second with 283. Alain Menu is third and Italy's Gabriele Tarquini is fourth in the standings with 145 points. Tom Coronel is in fifth. The rest of the top ten drivers are Tiago Monteiro, Franz Engstler, Norbert Michelisz, Kristian Poulsen and Robert Dahlgren.
