Grand Prix Malaysia Sepang MotoGP 2010 Live

The MotoGP Series will be racing this week in Malaysia. It happens October 23^rd at the Sepang Circuit, and will be the penultimate race of the year for the MotoGP Series. This event will be followed by the November 6^th Gran Premio Gernali de la comunitat Valenciana, which happens in Spain. The series has also recently raced at the Motorland Aragon, in Misano, San Marino and in the United States in Indianapolis for the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix. The most recent race on the calendar was the Iveco Australian Grand Prix, and it was held October 16^th at Phillip Island.

Right now Australian Casey Stoner leads the pack in the MotoGP standings with 325 points for Honda. Jorge Lorenzo will take second with 260 points and Italian rider Andrea Dovizioso will come in third with 212. Dani Pedrosa from Spain is in fourth for Honda with 208 and then Ben Spies on Yamaha is in fifth place with 156 points right now. The MotoGP circuit will be in Malaysia at the Sepang Circuit on October 10^th, for the next leg of the series, as we fast approach the end of the season for MotoGP, with the next event coming up on October 17^th at Phillip Island in Australia and then onto Estoril, Portugal for a October 31^st race with the final event in Valencia, Spain and scheduled to be held on November 7^th. This next race, on October 10^th, is called the Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix and the previous race to this one was the Grand Prix of Japan, held at the Motegi Circuit on October 3^rd. This MotoGP race was won by Casey Stoner with Team Ducati and Andrea Dovizioso from Italy and with Repsol Honda took second. Valentino Rossi was third with Fiat Yamaha, with Jorge Lorenzo from Spain in fourth and America's Colin Edwards in fifth place for Monster Yamaha. Before that, MotoGP was at the Motorland Aragon circuit in Aragon.

In the MotoGP standings, Valentino Rossi takes the top spot, with Jorge Lorenzo in second with 261 points. Rossi has 306. Dani Pedrosa is currently in third plae with 234 points and Casey Stoner takes fourth. Colin Edwards is in fifth place on the leader board and the rest of the top ten includes Andrea Dovizioso, Toni Elias, Alex de Angelis, Loris Capirossi and Marco Melandri.
