NASCAR Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300 Live

The NASCAR Nationwide Series will next race at the Kansas Speedway, for a race called the Kansas Lottery 300, which will be held on Saturday, October 8^th at 3:30PM. There are just four races to go before the end of the season of the Nationwide Series. The first is the race in Charlotte on October 14^th, with the next event on the calendar at Texas. The second to last event will be in Phoenix and then the finale will run in Homestead, Miami. Carl Edwards won the OneMain Financial 200, which happened at the Dover International on October 1^st.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads the Nationwide Series right now with 1025 points while Elliott Sadler is in second with 1003. Reed Sorenson will be in third and Aric Almirola takes fourth. Justin Allgaier will be in fifth. Jason Leffler and Kenny Wallace come in sixth and seventh and then eighth place is Steve Wallace. Brian Scott and Michael Annett. The NASCAR Nationwide Series continues with the Kansas Lottery 300, and it will be Saturday, October 3^rd at the Kansas Speedway, one day before the next Sprint Cup Chase Race, also held at Kansas, called the Price Chopper 400. The Kansas Motor Speedway was a track finished in 2001 and it's a 1.5 mile long D shaped oval with 2,685 feet on the frontstretch and 2.207 feet on the backstretch. This circuit features fifteen degrees banking and the NASCAR Nationwide Race record is held by Jeff Green, who grabbed it on the circuits opening year. Kevin Harvick will return to the track driving the number 33 car, the Jimmie John's Chevy this weekend for this Nationwide Series race. In 2008 he won the pole position, and then went on to lead 90 laps, but ran into some bad luck when his battery went dead halfway through the race. This brought him back to 13^th where he ended up finishing. Harvick will also be driving the number 29 car for the Price Chopper 400, the Sprint Cup race the next day. This race is 200 laps, and 300 miles long. The practice sessions will be held on Friday, with the race starting at 3:00PM Eastern.

Last year Denny Hamlin won the race, moving all the way up from 19^th place in his Z-Line Designs Toyota, while Clint Bowyer took second. David Ragan was in third place, having started in ninth, and Carl Edwards ended up with fourth, which is exactly where he began, Fifth was taken by Matt Kenseth who moved up one spot from the starting grid. The rest of the top ten included Brad Keselowski, Kasey Kahne, Jason Leffler, Joey Logano and Kelly Bires.
