July 17th through the 19th Round Eight commences for the AMA Pro Racing 2009 Season, taking place at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington. There are a couple of differences this year, the first being the elimination of the safety car during yellow flagging, and the second the Buell 1125RR in this competition for the first time. There are four races at the track this weekend, on both Saturday and Sunday, and you can catch all the action here on www.liveracingonline.com.

Mat Mladin continues to be on top for the American Superbike Class. He got his 82nd AMA Superbike win at the Mazda Race at Laguna Seca in the last round. Now he hopes to extend his record for the seventh win this season, already taking victories in all but two of the Superbike races this year. Each time, he also took the pole positions. This Suzuki rider is 127 points over his nearest opponent, teammate Tommy Hayden. Mladin is certainly the favorite to win, not only because of taking nearly every race this season, but also because he has championed the last two races at this venue, and won at this circuit a total of ten times.

Tommy Hayden has been doing his best to challenge Mladin this season, along with another Yoshimura Suzuki teammate, Blake Young. If Hayden takes the victory at the Mid-Ohio circuit, or even places, that will make seven podium positions for him this year. Blake Young may have a better chance of beating Mladin, finishing second to him in the Red Bull U S Grand Prix just one race prior. If you want to watch this race, then get your membership today at the banners on this page. You can watch live from the comfort of your PC as these riders take the Mid-Ohio Circuit. Its round eight of the AMA Pro Racing season July 17th through the 19th.

This weekend, it's the first round of the 2009 Monster Energy Triple Crown of Motocross with the first of 12 races, and one of the three triple crown events, at the High Point Raceway, in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania. It's Saturday, June 13th, and this fifth year event is followed by the main event of the triple crown – round two of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship season on the fourth of July from Buchanan, Michigan. The final round is held in Mechanicsville, Maryland and it will happen on Saturday, August 22nd, for the first time at this Maryland track since its beginnings four years ago.

Lots of money is up for grabs on this Motocross event. In addition to the regular payouts, if two riders sweep all three races in the 450 and 250 classes, they will receive a bonus check of $25,000, as well as the regular $3000 to the overall winner in both classes at each of the events that make up the triple crown. This isn't an easy task – only two riders have done the seemingly impossible and swept the triple crown events, one was Ricky Carmichael in 2005 and 2006, and the other was James Stewart, which happened just last year. Both of those riders swept in the 450 class events, but so far no 250 rider has been able to do the same.

The money awards go as follows, per race: $3000 to both the 250 and 450 class winners, with $2000 going to both of the 250 and 450 privateer winners, which makes a total of $30,000 available with all three events together. An overall sweep of either the 250 or 450 class will net a bonus of $25,000, or if no sweep happens then the points winners in both the 250 and 450 class will simply receive $5000. You don't want to miss this first round triple crown event. Click on the links and get your membership today. You'll have full access to our network of streams and feeds that puts you right into the high-octane action of the race events. It all starts on Saturday, June 13th.
