The twelfth and final round of the British Superbikes Series will be held this week. It is called the Brands Hatch Grand Prix, and will be from October 7th through the 9th at the world famous Brands Hatch circuit in the UK. This is one of three events in the final of the series, with the tenth round at Donington Park being the first, held September 9th, 10th and 11th and the Silverstone event from September 23rd to the 25th. Last time at the Brand Hatch circuit, Alastair Seeley won his very first event in race one and then Tom Sykes took the second race.

John Hopkins is at the top of the British Superbikes standings right now, with Tommy Hill in second and Josh Brookes in third place. Shane Bryne takes fourth and Michael Laverty will be in fifth. Sixth and seventh placed riders are Ryuichi Kiyonari and Jon Kirkham, with Michael Rutter in eighth and Peter Hickman and Gary Mason in ninth and tenth. The British Superbikes Series will be going to the first race of the year for the 2011 calendar, the Brands Hatch Indy, which will be held April 22nd through the 25th and will be followed by a race at Oulton Park, which happens April 30th through May 2nd, and then the series will go to Croft, Thruxton, Knockhill and Snetterton. Here were the results from the Final Test at Brands Hatch. HM Plant Honda rider Shane Byrne was first on the list with John Hopkins with Samsung Crescent Racing was second. Then, Tommy Hill with Swan Yahaha was third on the list. Relentless Suzuki rider Michael Laverty was next and then Stuart Easton after that with MSS Colchester Kakwasaki. Also on the list is John Kirkham with Samsung Crescent Racing and Ryuichi Kiyonari with HIM Plant Honda was next with the rest of the list including Gary Mason and Dan Linfoot.

The line up for this week's race in Brands Hatch includes numbers one through five on the rider list starting with Ryuichi Kiyonari, Josh Brookes, Stuart Easton, Dan Linfoot and Ian Lowry. Also competing will be number eight and nine, John Laverty and Chris Walker along with numbers 10, 11 and 19, John Kirkham, Guy Martin and Steve Brogan.
