The ability afforded to you to watch live f1 online makes them the premier site on the net for following all the important formula one races in 2008. Honda Racing have a relatively short history in terms of participation in formula one. While it has been over 40 years since they made their debut, the corporation has spent most of its time in formula 1 as an engine supplier and only recently rejoined the racing circuit.

Honda made their debut on the formula one circuit back in 1964 at the German Grand Prix. Their cars were very impressive early on as was the fact that aside form being the only non-European team participating in formula 1, they were also providing their own engine and chassis. In only their second year they were able to reach the podium in a race, and were among the more innovative teams of the 1960's. Unfortunately for Honda Racing and their supporters, the team decided not to race after 1969. Instead, they returned to f1 in the 1980's as an engine supplier and did quite well in their partnership with the McLaren racing team. In fact, their engine was in the championship winning care in 6 of the 9 seasons from 1983 to 1992. The 2006 season would see the return of Honda Racing F1 after they purchased BAR.

The 2007 season saw Honda Racing F1 stand out as the lone formula one racing team not to feature extensive advertising on their cars but instead a depiction of the planet earth against the back drop of space. Jenson Button and the former Ferrari star, Rubens Barrichello of Brazil were the drivers but they were done in by the cars they were driving. You can follow Barrichello as well as all of Honda's races when you watch formula 1 live online at www.liveracingonline.com. Midway through the season the powers that be finally acknowledged that their cars had numerous problems with both the engines and the aerodynamic design and almost the entire design staff was replaced.
Amid all the changes announced at the top for 2008, it has been confirmed that Honda Racing F1 are set to go with the same two drivers this year in Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello with Alexander Wurz of Austria as the test driver. Ross Brawn remains the team principal and Shuhei Nakamoto the technical director. The chassis is of course Honda's own RA10 and the engine is the RA808E. The goals this season are modest as Honda will be looking to improve on their 8th place position and 6 points earned last year, while also winning their first race since 2006.
As with any racing team, Honda will only be as good as their cars. Can they pull off the upset a pick up a couple of race wins in 2008? Watch Honda Racing F1 live online at www.liveracingonline.com and find out this season starting with the Australian Grand Prix.
